Yep it is a hanbok! I think something like this for the hair would be great.
I am loving the background, do keep that, and the light and summery theme sounds good.
Could you make some small adjustments to the mouth though, it looks a little weird to me xD

@basileia Okay, this is what I was thinking for the hanbok. Just a mock up of the colors, but I was thinking of a striking gold/ivory for the main part of it, and then the crimson red for the bottom and for details. All with flowers/embroidery~ Also made changes to her smile~ Let me know if you'd like any other changes, and I'll PM you my email so you can send me payment~ once I get it, I can start lining and painting for you! .w. The added hair makes him look so pretty.
I guess it is the most minuscule change, but his lips look to curve up ever so slightly, could they instead curve down that same amount? He is a fairly new character so I'm trying to think and learn more about him. He is becoming the type that would not smile at all for much of anything. Going to have to be nicer to him soon in his story I think. >.>
