TOPIC | Quick Update
[center][img]http://flightrising.com/dropbox/tinkering.png[/img][/center] Apologies a bit of a quiet week, everyone. Real life has had most of us in a stranglehold (great timing!) but there have been a number of other things churning in the background that we wanted to share: [LIST] [*]Following the [b]Riot of Rot[/b], we wanted to let the dust settle a little and get a pulse on our concurrency and data flow. This analysis has proven to be helpful in finding out what to tackle next in regards to site performance improvement. [*]This week we've been focusing on refactoring some of the code that focuses on your lair (Clan Profile, Dragon Lair, Nesting Grounds), as these are highly frequented and have gobs of data involved---dragons and energy being of particular strain. We plan on pushing these changes soon (possibly early next week), so there may be a few bumps when those changes go live. [*]Undel and I are working closely with our small team of artists to continue prepping content for both updates and unreleased features. Lots of fun stuff in the pipe. [*]Our code team is working on minor bug fixes and prepping/building upcoming features and activities. We are not yet ready to announce anything, but we're excited for what's ahead! [*]We'll be creating a thread for the [b]Rockbreaker's Ceremony Skin Contest[/b] soon. [/LIST] Thanks, everyone!
