The new crossroads sounds really clunky and unworkable -- the normal case for a crossroads trade does not have the two people online at the same time. How can I confirm a trade if I'm asleep? How can people accept crossroads as they free up space if they don't know when the trade is actually going to go through?
Why in the world would you even have the second step where the target sets the price? If people want to negotiate a price they can negotiate a price. In the middle of a trade seems like a really weird place to even want to do it.
I just really hate the whole idea. You really need to keep the old-style trades around as an option since they're so much more efficient.
