Meet the Cast
Their eyes light up with barely bridled joy as you nod slowly. The two immediately shepherd you into the recommissioned Lost-and-Found cabin, nattering about appropriate behaviour around not-really-kids and the exhilaration of levelling them up and recent damage costs being higher than expected– wait,
what?!
Before you can hope to ask them to repeat themselves, one of them suddenly leaps forwards to catch a small shape that had just launched itself from the rafters. Their comrade recoils, and lets out an instinctive shriek, before remembering her place and turning back to you with a clearly forced grin.
“Oh, those
kids!” She laughs breathily, before composing herself again, her fixed grin smoothing into something more genuine. Behind her, you spy a couple of small, arguably adorable creatures staring at you with clear curiosity. “Anyways, here are the little critters! No one’s come to pick them up in
aaaages, so why not go around and let them introduce themselves to you before taking a… heh,
dip and trying your luck in our game of chance?”
Enyo
This hardy ram has come for the greatest training of all. Forget practicing training katas under the chill of a shimmering waterfall, this is the year for the SEARING HEAT of a MAGMA FLOW. Specifically, that really hot smoking ride they set up near the center of the PARTY GROUNDS OF THE INFERNOS. What? Her wool will just burn off? Pssh, there’s no need to worry. After all, Enyo always has a plan. That’s rule number one, right next to rule number two: Enyo will never, never tolerate bullying. Not to herself, and not to anyone else. Everyone has their flaws, everyone has their struggles, and so, so many people are still trying to find their place in life - putting someone down for something like that is just a cruel move, bro. She’s been there too - she knows. She knows, and that is why, to her very last breath, she will always do whatever she can - learn and train however she can, whenever she can. She will strengthen herself and her will until she will finally be able to show everyone that you are who decides who you are, in the end. No one else. Why else would she stay in this shack, if not to keep the others company while they wait for those who have lost them to return?

Komo
How was he supposed to know that exposing a wizard to his foul mouth would turn him into this… this defect?! It wasn’t his fault that his breath stank no matter what he tried! You try keeping up with your dental hygiene when you spit out oily hairballs every few days! Or, at least, that is what Komo always says when someone asks why such a strange-looking dragon as him exists, in a land populated by dragons that look nothing like him. Whether or not it’s the truth, no one knows. He’s incredibly stubborn, Komo is.
Swathed in robes of fiction and swagger, there’s no stopping him whenever he gets enamoured with whatever fool idea he’s come up with now. Still, someday… He’d really like to revert back to his true form. For once, it’s not a lie: there is nothing more he misses, nothing more he’d love back in the whole world than to go back to the way things were… Or, alternatively, the ability to fly. Won’t you lend a hand? Pretty please? Those two dragons guarding the door aren't letting anyone out alone, but he can't get anything done here!

Prisca
Every phoenix recorded to this day has made a difference during their life. Together, they have created a legacy, a monumental heritage that Prisca has been in terrified awe of for... basically all their life. Even though they’ve never been the outgoing type, being more inclined to curl up in the corner of any fire-proofed library with their favourite textbooks in their claws-- NO! ENOUGH! They’ve been passively observing for far too long, and even though they are not young anymore, it is their time to take a stand! ...At least, it will be, whenever they can find the willpower to face the masses that will surely be expecting great things from them...

Moniker
A somewhat nihilistic young deer who has attained ‘enlightenment’ at the price of a loss of purpose in life. They’re an extremely calm individual, and works in the industrial technology field when they aren’t hanging around in old shacks helping two enthusiastic wildclaws pursue their well-intentioned initiative. Before they realised the situation they were in, Moniker took a great deal of enjoyment travelling across the border between the Ashfall Waste and the Shifting Expanse and helping whichever soul needed their help as Sasaki Yuuki, the illustrious Artificer of Burning Hope.
...Oh, I’d better not write too much here. They can read this, too. Hey, Moniker! Don’t give up, okay? You’re doing great!

Daphne
A well-known food critic with a distinct preference for rare meat and delicious sauces. She’s famous for her motto, “I don’t just like food, I LOVE food! And whether or not I love it, there’s always room for improvement.” Maybe she may come off as a little imperious, but really, she just really loves food, and wants everyone to take it seriously. Taking the existence of food for granted, after all, is a huge no-no in Daphne’s book! She also hosts a popular website where she posts her reviews and recommendations. It was custom-designed for her by a good friend, and one whose sake she’d say she does her life’s work for.
Originally found herself stuck at this cabin while following her nose during the previous Flameforger’s Festival, but became endeared to the little surrogate family they’ve created since then.

Klaus
Klaus has been grudgingly going through the daily grind for what feels like entire months, now, and he is so, so tired. It’s all he can do to muster the energy to get out of bed each day, much less get to work and get back home, but somehow, he’s doing it. He’s doing it! Like, sure, maybe he’s not the most socially competent salamander on the block, but the fact that he’s still trying to keep up some facade of competence means something, right?
...But how long can he keep it up? Not even Klaus knows, if he’s going to be honest.
All… he wants to do… is survive... until his long-awaited vacation days...
