Aww, what a cute little thing!
I base the succulents off of colours sampled from the body, eyes, apparel, skins; anything I think would look good, and realistic. I alter the colours just a little, so they don't blend in and so they look a bit more natural, sometimes I use what I know about the dragon to help colour them, and then I change things until I think they look nice! For my Mirror example, Aestyris, I went a bit wild because I liked it, and she's a water dragon, so I thought succulents coloured like reef plants would suit her. If you have any colours you want specifically. I could also do that!
As for the cost, I have been waiting AGES for someone to offer me Copper Filigree! And because I'm geneing the dragon that needs them, I can take the Arm and Leg Tangles, too, over the Wave Sweeper (sorry, cute large sea pancake). And then there's no additional cost or anything! I can even draw some apparel or something on him, too, if you wanted!

Ah!! Thank you so much! She's a very special lil gal to me, the only G1 i myself have hatched and kept! <3 she's the adopted lil baby of two very special dragons to me!
Oh, I don't have any colors quite in particular, I imagine! but in general, I imagine soft pastels would look lovely with her, like soft lavenders, blues, gold, and such? Because concerning her lore, she's basically the embodiment of nature's purity and new life in general! ^^
