Update: 21st June: THE TRAVELLING TWINS ARE COMING!
A set of twins from each Deity will be visiting lands throughout Dondir, and they're bringing new genes and mutations with them!
Their slots are limited, so make sure your Tark'ee have their Breeding Rights to participate in the event!

Tark'ee are a breedable closed species created by myself. The group is an ARPG (art role-playing game) with the rideable Tark'ee being central to life in Dondir.
You can buy Tark'ee from The Marketplace, or adopt them from The Adoption Center.

Artwork and literature will earn your Tark'ee experience, and earn you Silver - the currency in-game.
Up and coming is a fully functional combat system and questing system. We will also be having space for Trainer Profiles, Eyrie Designs, Tack, Shops.

Currently, Tark'ee can be tamed (easy) and bred, and Tark'ee can be traded and sold between players.
Tark'ee come in 4 different types, however. And these types rarely breed between them - so make sure you have two of the same type if you want to successfully breed!

You must be a member of the Tark'ee group on DeviantArt to adopt, breed and raise Tark'ee. You also need to be a member to partake in any competitions or events held.
However you do not need to be a member to draw art. You do need the Tark'ee owner's permission beforehand though.

Adoption Center

Tark'ee here are free to new users! You are entitled to adopt 1 (one) free Tark'ee!
Every user in the Tark'ee group will automatically receive an Adoption Token. You can redeem this one-use Token to adopt a Tark'ee from The Adoption Center, linked above!

There's plenty to choose from, but the Adoption Center isn't always full.




The Marketplace

You're greeted by the hustle and bustle of many people walking around with their Tark'ee.
Some are tethered to walls and screeching out their complaints, others fly overhead, the crowd parting like water in an attempt to not get trampled beneath those sharp claws.
You hear many people shouting out the good qualities of their Tark'ee, trying to get someone's attention to buy them - others yet are selling tiny hatchlings, some hardly hatched from their eggs!

The Golden Guard patrol here, keeping a weary eye on all trades happening and occasionally inspecting the available mounts - they always get the best of the best...

Silver and Experience Payout


You can earn Silver through artwork! This includes art of your own Tark'ee, of other people's Tark'ee (seek permission first), or of the Deities!
When drawing non-Deity or non-NPC Tark'ee, the featured Tark'ee will also gain experience! Experience allows Tark'ee to become stronger in combat through level rewards, and once a Tark'ee reaches level 3, it is able to breed.

As such, it is good to reference this payout sheet when you have submitted art to the DA group.

FAQ

Do I need to be a member of the group to adopt a Tark'ee?
Yes. In order to adopt a Tark'ee you must be a member of the group on DA.


What do I do after I have a Tark'ee?
After you obtain your first Tark'ee, or set of Tark'ee, you can hold onto them, RP with them, look at them, etc. Basically, whatever you want!
I would suggest drawing art of them, or commissioning artists to draw them for you. Until the battle and quest systems are fully functional, this is the only way to level up your Tark'ee.
Your Tark'ee BOTH need to be level 3 before you can breed them.
