@nirwana hello ily, these look fantastic and I've been freaking out over them since 2016! Would you perhaps provide the info on how you made the effects? Any special program? I'd love to try something similar for myself :eyes:

@TehuMertt
sorry for the late reply, the ping got buried a bit!
I mainly just used tutorial myself and I don't have any fancy animation program, i did everything with my old photoshop cs5 xD
i tried to sum up what i remember below but idk if it is really helpful haha...

i think is used this tutorial for the snow and the floating particles stuff on the crystals or ashes are basically just a flipped and slowed down/sped up version of that snow

for lava/water animations like these i just cut out some parts of the image and moved them a bit with every layer.

lights like these were made by cutting out the things i wanted to glow, adding an 'outer glow' or something like that layer and increasing the opactity gradually

fog like this i made with a bunch of 'cloud brush layers' that i moved to the side

the rain is just simple noise layers, like in this tutorial. i added some white dots (different ones on each layer] on the parts i imagined the rain would hit

@nirwana you are a GOD, thank you so much. That blinking light effect is truly impressive, I'll probably overthink it too much when it's in actuality much simpler to do but I'll get there. The rain's my favourite though and I tried making it myself but it didn't turn out this good, but I probably just need practice. Thanks for the tutorials!
