B I O G R A P H Y

A hard worker and mother-like figure for all of the clan members, Astra is quite the curiosity when it come to her story. Having grown up in the Southern Ice Fields, Astra was accustomed to the coldest nights and harshest winters. However, being covered in the stars herself, she always appreciated the wide expanse of sky above her.

However, growing up alone under that night sky, things got pretty sad pretty quick. Astra began to wander into other lands and it was just on the edge of The Sunbeam Ruins, that she met her soon to be mate, Vermilion. The two dragons clicked almost immediately and bonded over their shared loneliness. They traveled together, ate together, cried together and laughed, becoming a truly inseparable pair of friends. Vermilion would make toys for Astra and Astra, in return, would make some miserable copy of the thing and give that to Vermilion. It was something Vermilion still laughs about with her to this day. She still grows embarrassed whenever the topic is brought up.

After a few years of traveling together, Vermilion and Astra ended up in The Scarred Wasteland, where they met another dragon who they would quickly befriend after trial and error with the language barrier. This dragon was a coatl messenger for Avolare named Valen. He was a funny and charming coatl and the three bonded over their shared travels all over the world. Valen ended up bringing Vermilion and Astra to Avolare and gave them a home that was meant to be temporary. Spoiler alert, it ended up being more and the rest was history.

Astra became Assistant Hatchling Nanny after meeting Viridi, mate of the original clan founder, Aequum. Somehow through all the cruelty and coldness Viridi displayed to Astra when Astra asked to help with the hatchlings after seeing their strict treatment, Viridi, surprisingly, allowed her and officially assigned Astra to assist her. It was quite a surprise to everyone in the whole clan though everyone was pleased.

Currently, Astra tends to the hatchlings of others as well as her own and Viridi appreciates the help. She is still great friends with Valen and she and Vermilion ended up being more than just friends. Astra feels more loved than she has ever felt in her entire life and it truy shows.
