Acacia

Acacia came into being when she was built in a laboratory far away from the forests of Sonerith. Her only duty was to be a warrior; an attacking machine with no mercy. Her orders came in, she obeyed. There was no straying from these commands due to the fact they were all built with no free will. In one of her battles, Acacia went too far and lost connection with the main frame. She wandered the forest aimlessly until she ran out of power. She collapsed where she stopped, allowing for the leaves and vines to slowly consume her body until she looked nothing more than some trash the forest had reclaimed. Being that she was just a mere tool, no one came looking for her, and she lay there for many years, that is, before a young mage Angmar found her. He was practicing his magic in the forest to prepare himself for joining the next years in the school of Nature. This school was very small, and really only consisted of the better magicians who were able to follow the riddles and tales that lead to this secret place. When she awoke, Acacia was very confused. Her movements were stiff with age and lack of care; wings seemed heavier than normal, claws brittle. She looked at her surroundings only to see vines. Her face and body had been covered by the angry thorns of the rose bush she had fallen into. She could hear a soft voice whispering somewhere nearby.
"WHO'S THERE?" Her mechanical voice rang out.
"Oh, you're awake!"
"ANSWER ME."
"I'm of no concern to you. I will cause you no harm. My name is Angmar. I am a mage who has found you in the forest of Reclamation. Many who enter here never return, so my question to you is; Why are you here?"
"I-I DO NOT REMEMBER...I CANNOT SEE. I CANNOT FEEL. I ONLY FOLLOW THE QUEEN."
She repeated this to herself a few more times before falling silent.
"ANGMAR?"
Her voice resonated softer this time, echoing throughout the hollow chambers of her throat.
"YOU ARE STILL THERE, RIGHT?"
No reply.
"I-I HAVE THIS FEELING I HAVE NEVER FELT BEFORE. IT FEELS...IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING I DO NOT WANT TO FEEL. SOMETHING BAD."
"You are feeling fear. It is a common reaction of those who are in a strange place, separated from what they know. I will help you out of this forest if you promise me one thing."
Angmar paused, waiting for Acacia to respond.
"WHAT DO YOU WISH ME TO PROMISE YOU?"
"You must never kill freely ever again, for as long as you live. No more raiding cities, towns, dens. Can you do that for me?"
"WHAT PURPOSE WOULD I HAVE IF NOT TO FOLLOW MY ORDERS!"
Rage filled Acacia enough to push her to her feet, vines snapping in all directions, flying away as they came loose. Her eyes were now glowing from under the vines across her nose. She growled as she forced her mouth open, silver fangs glinting before tearing into the vines around her throat. She now stood free of the growth, panting havily. Since when did she fee exhausted? Was it her low power...or something else?
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!"
