It all began with miniature suns spreading across the sands.

The bright flashes blasted out flames and death from their expanding forms, flattening all within their reach and growing plumes of smoke larger than even the thunderous clouds that usually graced the horizon. That’s when we knew things were going to be very different from now on. We never got to know who pressed the button or why, but not that it matters. They’re probably dead by now anyway, so we wouldn’t be able to ask what happened. Skeletons never speak, after all. Wires and electronics were fried, power generators blown to smithereens.

All that remained were the leftover blueprints in the ruined cities, and the abandoned tech under the ground where the bombs couldn’t reach them. We had the tools, we had them all. Right within our grasp. The ability to harvest water from the earth itself. Food purification machines. The blueprints, the ideas in our own minds we could warp the scrap metal with. However, we lost our ability to use them. Treasure was forgotten. Energy was the new currency.

Do you know why we measure our wealth in Joltz instead of coins now? The coins themselves are worthless, maybe they always have been. But energy itself... the crackling in the heavens, the inherent magic within us all... ready to be harnessed... THAT is worth EVERYTHING to us. Once you have energy, you can wield the tools. The tools to water. To clean food. To regrowth and rebuilding.

For a while now, we’ve been exploring the wastes, we’ve been sending out wanderers and traders to return with goods traded for batteries, and batteries traded for goods. But we hit a dry season. We were barely finding any fellow traders in our travels. More and more, our scouts returned to us, tails between legs and hands empty. We grew desperate. We starved, we sickened, we dehydrated. So we found measures to match our desperation. We were forced to rely on the generators, which were primitive compared to the old spires and had a limited power output. We still occasionally visit these generators to this day, but it’ll only ever give us 75,000 Joltz. Not to mention the sudden bursts of lightning would draw marauders to our territory. Then we found a way.

We found out a way to build a wondrous machine, one which would siphon the magic of the land itself and turn it into this crackling, glowing cyan liquid we could store in new kinds of batteries. We could sell these wondrous batteries, we could use them ourselves for our own inventions. We could help our broken flight by selling it to the militias fighting against invading elements, powering their war machines.

So here we are today. A wonderful family, clan and company all in one. We create our signature batteries, we build and export our machines. We do all that we should. We are The Juicers. And we look forward to you joining our ranks today!

THIS IS AN EXALTING LAIR. Or, at least I plan on making it one. If I buy a dragon and you want it back, please tell me.

Yeah, it’s good to see other OFF fans too! I can’t say that I’m as obsessed with it as I used to be now, but it’ll always have a special place in my heart. :’) There’s still soooo many good things I could say about that game.
