As morning rays dapple the Sunbeam Ruins, a lone Guardian steps out into the dew-strewn grass. He pauses and looks to the east, to the rising sun and the Lightweaver, who spreads her wings and trills loudly at the sunbeams in celebration of yet another new day breaking.
Slowly, more and more dragons filter out behind the Guardian, hatchlings and adults alike, and they greet the light with joy. Another dawn is born, and life is good. The Guardian nuzzles the tiny Fae he has come to know and love. Yes, he thinks, life is very good.
