Welcome to Alitheia, the Obsidian City!
The Alitheian Pledge:
Tempered through fire and shining ever bright,
Learning and inspired in our Mother's might.
Forever to the Flamecaller our hearts will be true,
Finding loyal family in our hardworking crew.
Reaching ever still for the glory of the sun.
Seeking, never resting, till our tasks are done.
Lighting our hearths and hearts; warm to our allies,
Yet kindled and rising in our enemies' cries.
The clan is lead by a council containing 15 members: the clan leader, the clan leader's Hand, the clan's head healer, the Fire Acolyte (spiritual leader) and 11 representatives chosen by the leader to represent their flight within the clan. The Hand of the leader usually sorts out internal conflict within the rest of the council. Decisions are debated upon until a compromise is reached or a majority vote is decided. The top four (leader, Hand, healer, and sage/spiritual leader) represent the heart (or soul), mind, body, and spirit of the clan respectively while the rest of the council represents the interests of the individual members of the clan. Any member of the clan can bring an issue forward to the council at any time. The clan serves Flamecaller, but the worship of other deities is permitted.
