This is an exalting Lair, but I will always give them sensible names.
The last 3 pages of my lair are dedicated to breeding projects, whose parents will then be exalted. If you sold that dragon and want it back when I have my project, just let me know.

Generally Lurks
Welcome to this windswept Clan, a nomadic group of Fae and their Imperial entourage making their slow way across the world. Born in Wind, this clan has been tempered in Fire and hardened in Ice. They have thrived in Nature, became learned in Arcane. The Faeclaw drift now to the dusty lands of Earth...who knows where they will land next.

Sigil acts as the face of the clan while in her home grounds.

A Brief History
These are Fae from all walks of life. Most of them are natural born, but many came from the ranks of other dragons, choosing to embrace the Fae ways. Once from the Wind, they retain the friendly, open nature of their clan, regardless of their travels. The Faeclaw gather with their Imperial guard; strong, loyal Imperials that defend the clan from threats too big for them to take. To act as ambassadors between the two species, a small flight of Nocturnes accompanies them.

Raj is the undisputed leader of the Clan, first-born son of the original progenitors and a powerful Wind wizard. Yet, it was when the clan encountered Eclipse that it forged its strange path.

A freak accident saw Eclipse lose the use of his natural magical talent unable to breathe the elements as other Fae, and in another life would have undoubtedly been left at the mercy of the world. But Eclipse was of the Plague Flight - and no son of the Plaguebringer was prepared to lie down without a fight.

He observed the mighty Imperial protectors of the clan; how they moved and danced during their own sparring, their unmatched viciousness and fury when their beloved home was in danger. And Eclipse had not lost his magical talent. Over time, and with the assistance of the similarly minded Valefor, both dragons learned to channel magic in a new way for Fae - to augment themselves not magically but physically, until these tiny Fae became almost as threatening as the Imperials themselves.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Full of skilled mages and warriors, any foe daring to threaten this clan will be met with dozens of tiny fighters more than capable of sending them on their way. Be it through breath, claw, or their fearsome Imperial guardians, these Fae will do what they can to protect their own.

The Clan
The Faeclaw clan has grown huge indeed, and in any such sized clan several factions are starting to show. There's the Elders - the few Fae that were here at the formation of the clan and are considered next to Raj in prestige. There's the Sentinels; the official soldiers and guardians of the clan, a mix of Imperial and Fae warriors. With so many scholars and archivists appearing too, there's a distinct faction starting to form amongst the more studious. Finally, the mysterious Faether - beings closer to elementals than dragons - have started to make their mark.

The Sentinels
When the new magic of the Faeclaw Clan was discovered, Valefor believed that without purpose and direction, the gift would be used for ill. Thus he consulted with his close friends Nereid and Blazen and put forth his plan; dragons who would devote themselves to protecting the clan, and be held to a higher code than the rest. They took their ideas to the Imperials, who taught them much in the way of honorable combat. Thus came about the Sentinels - fierce and proud defenders of the clan. All save one exception, they are distinguished by both their use of claw and donning of unique armor.

Woe betide the enemy who crosses them.

Valefor, stoic and unyielding, wears Bloodscale Armor.
Nereid, wise scryer and silent watcher, wears Steelscale Armor.
Blazen, young and sharp, wears the Venomscale Armor.
Snow, atoner and first to be trained, wears the Alabaster Filigree.
Wilderness, fierce and wild protector, wears Solidscale Armor.
Aureus, a lover of gold, wears Gold Filigree.
Blizten, brash and bold, wears Burnished Gold Armor..
Maelstrom, patient and sleek, wears Battlescale Armor.
Swept, a former Wildclaw, dons Silver Filigree.
Stratos, who shuns the way of the claw to tend the wounds of the brave, wears the brilliant Ornate Armor.
Shiryou, the frozen Knight and largest of the Imperials, wears Ebony Filigree.
Reharaj, master tactician and strategist, wears Iron Filigree.
Carlos, warrior of the dark, wears Shadowscale Armor.

Conspicuously absent are Eclipse and Zephyr, the two strongest warriors in the clan. These Fae don't care for the regimented life of the Sentinels, neither having the temperament to serve. They prefer roaming the wilds together to take on foes themselves.

The Faether Council
Strange, almost elemental beings, the Faether are a subspecies of Fae strongly attuned to their element, so much so that it often bleeds out around them. Incredibly powerful, if unpredictable Fae, these beings are closer to Elementals than they are dragons.

The first that came was Shale, an Earth Faether, always smelling strongly of freshly turned earth and shaking dust from his scales.

The second that came was Leafen, a Nature Faether, always smelling of fresh flowers and her moods affecting the plant life around her.

The third was Sanguine, a truly disturbing little Plague Fae that oozes blood in his wake and bears bony protrusions that match the Plaguemother.

The fourth was Gloom, permanently wreathed in shadow and always drawing the dark around her as if it were a blanket.

The fifth was Icicle, a gifted magi with exquisite control over the ice, with an aura so cold it draws the very water from the air to fall as snow.

Magically gifted but physically weak, the Faether craft for themselves golems of pure element. These golems act not only as defenders, but as a source of their element to help stabilize their condition.

All went smoothly until the arrival of Ignatius; a vicious Fire Faether convinced he was an avatar of the Flamebringer. Barely beaten back by the existing Faether, they fear his next move...

Out of Character Stuff
I am absolutely fine with receiving hatchling letters! In fact, I love receiving them and you'll likely get an RP letter in return.

I very rarely breed my Fae - I'm particular about eye color for one, and the sad truth is that as a plentiful breed Fae don't often sell. If you want a hatchling, ping me to let me know from whom. My lair is organised in pairs so it's easy to tell who is with who!

Current Wants:
I want a Light Sprite :( But we'll have to talk out a payment plan.

Wanted Dragons:
First of all, when quoting a price at me please be aware that if they're not Fae I will need to factor another 50,000 in a breed change!

For dragons I request to be Iri/Shim or Cry/Face, I will consider a dragon that is either one or the other as well. Trying to cut down on my gem buying ;)

Finally, Flight is important to me for eye color, so please also bear that in mind when offering. If your dragon isn't the listed Flight, but the eye color goes really well with the colors anyway, try your luck!
