Lore was always one of those things I kept meaning to sit down and figure out, but never actually did, lol. I could never settle on a coherent theme or story to flesh out. I do love reading other people's lore though!

The thread is unfortunately locked now, but I just wanted to say - "if I wanted a sugarcoated escapism place where nothing bad ever happened, I'd have gone to a site about ponies, not dragons" - that was spot on for me, too. Shame we're apparently not allowed to discuss this.
