Mielikki's Clan

Hollow had been searching for a purpose for only a short time when she came across a lush valley. Something in this place spoke to her, but what was it? The warm, sunlit meadows? The deep, cold lake at the northern end and the gentle river that ran from it? The cool shadows under the trees of the surrounding hills?

She spent a few days pondering it. She did feel most at home under the tall trees - the canopy was so thick that there was very little underbrush, which made for easy movement for her. Why, Hollow herself looked as though she had sprung from the shadows here. Yes! This was the place she was meant to protect. But something was missing...

One day she met a bright furry dragon named Hackberry. He was as different from Hollow as he could be! His appearance and gentle soul intrigued her.

Only days later two more dragons arrived, Quake and Saraswati. They were both of the Light flight, but wished to live in the valley. Hollow thought they were both very fine, distinguished looking dragons and was happy to meet them. While everyone was getting to know each other, they were dive-bombed by a Fae pair, Hyemali and Hyann. Both had blended into the forest quite well, and caught everyone by surprise.

Hollow did not do well with surprises, and lashed out. Hackberry intervened before anyone was hurt. Since they wanted to be part of the clan, he suggested they act as scouts and messengers. Hyemali and Hyann quickly agreed.

Quake and Saraswati wished to aid Hollow in defending the valley and protecting any future hatchlings. They would also escort any possible clan members to Hackberry, who would decide if they were a good fit.

The first dragon to be brought forward was a wildclaw hatchling, Twilight. She showed great promise as a hunter. Twilight loves to chase the Fae - but not to eat them. Honest.
