About Aperta Medical
Aperta is a large medical facility now a part of the Tempest Spire. It is not attached to any of the buildings, but is easy to lose in a flyby unless you notice the pink crystal used it its construction. It is a collection of buildings, surrounding a central courtyard, divided into five 'wings'. These buildings are constructed of white stone blocks for the floors and walls, with the roofs domed and created of arcane crystal. Three of the buildings are termed wings of their own, but the largest building is about three times the size and itself divided into three wings.
These wings are as follows, running clockwise as you face the smallest building:
Nidus Wing: The residential building where the staff resides in three-room apartments, each apartment sized and furnished according to species. It also holds the primary administration offices underground beneath it.
Mens Wing: The psychiatry building, a light and airy space with its own reception that treats mental ailments. The psychologists and psychiatrists have their offices here.
Foras Wing: Outpatients, and the offices of the general practitioners. Has its own reception.
Primor Building: The biggest building, and home to the other wings. These wings are arranged such that Otium Wing is along the entirety of one side, while the other two are split between the other. These wings are:
Otium Wing: Patients wards. This also includes private rooms.
Subpeto Wing: The surgical theaters, and rooms containing specialised equipment such as MRI.
Helit Wing: The morgue. Not well known.
Primor building also contains a large reception through which Otium, Subpeto, and Helit wings are accessible, as are the public library (plus study rooms) and a small gift shop ('Little Hearts Gifts'). In addition, there is a public access corridor that links Primor and Nidus via a small nursery.
In addition, there is a final wing not accessible to the public that runs underground, Firmo Wing, that holds the hoard vaults and barracks, along with a clever magically created indoor plumbing system. Aperta has warm showers.
Aperta accepts all patients, including Beastclan, and is typically very friendly while also providing quality medical care at no cost.

Symbol

The clan symbol represents the giving of life and the repairing of minds, all bound by the technology used in the Expanse. The symbol is usually found on official documentation.
