With the Emperor threat still at large, the clan makes another move into the Beacon of the Radiant Eye to provide military support and for the wider lands it provides. Though Raziel digs the emergency caves, as always, Belael began an architectural marvel to actually house everyone. His grandiose tendencies are thankfully tempered by Euryale, who not only spends an hour each day overseeing his construction, but also takes daily border patrols, reviews the storerooms, and drills exaltees. Though the clan feels at its most militant, it's hard not to notice the comforts that have grown around it.

Trauma survivors, like Permetior and Arden, forge their lives the best they can. Several artists and crafters have convinced the matriarch of their worth and have their own stalls in the market nearby. There's even an actual therapist in residence, a much needed asset for such a battlescarred clan. With a well-tended garden and a keen hunting team, the clan seems set to be called upon for war.
