The snakes were mysterious... creeping around in the shallow rocks in the dark areas near the ocean as well as diving in the deepest part of the sea. They sought to themselves, carefully avoiding other clans and dragons. Anyone seen as a threat would be attacked should they get too close. Fake bites and scratches at first, to warn others off, if this isn't enough then the intruder should have to brace the flurry of attacks incoming from the whole of the clan...
Most dragons in this clan are nocturnal, they blend in well with the night, maybe once in a while, when they are happy, they would swim up to the surface and leap out of water as if trying to catch the moon. Some will spring out of water roaring, some would timidly float up to the surface to bask under the moonlight, it was always a rare sight to see dragons of this clan...
The babies play by having mock fights, hunting trips and game of tags, dragons were trained to fight and defend at young, this is a clan of fighters and killers if they must. They are quite civilized however, they know to treat other dragons in their clan with respect, compassion and kindness, in the rare occasions that they make friends with dragons from other clans, then friends they will be till death. The dragons of this clan will treat their friends like family, and will fight to protect them, the dragons will always grief over lost of loved ones, the traditional ritual on how to "bury" dragons is have 2-4 dragons carry the dead body of the loved one under the full moon. The dragons will fly above the ocean, whispering
May u rest in peace in the sea,
Alive in our hearts u shall be.
U guarded the stormy waters,
Now the moon lets u go free.
before tossing the dragon into the vast span of water below, usually the dragons are very close to the lost one and would fly close to the surface of the water before letting the body sink into the ocean, then they would circle the spot before flying back, trying not to cry on their way...

The haunted snake: Old dragons were not found in this clan however, they always seem to be hiding back in the lair?
Breezy, a Friend of serpenta, who is now supposed to be 60 in human years, came flying into the home of Snake clan.
"Serpenta? SERPENTA!!" She shrieked, eager to show her old Friend a new hiding spot she found, it was between the rocks of The Wandering Contagion, only dragons small like them can creep in there, and food was plentiful there too!
"Serpenta's gone" growled BlackFangs,"Don't bother looking for her."
Breezy's face, once of excitement turned immediately into shock, like someone splashed a bucket of cold water on her. Suddenly she's scared, all the dragons have came out of their homes, looking, no, staring at her. Gulping in fear, she raced back to her Zephyr Steppes home, the memory of what happened still haunting her...
All old dragons seemed to be gone in the Snake Clan, no stories of what happened, no proof they really died, nothing, just vanished, nothing is recorded in history how their lives ended, so what really happened?
