FudgingPastry's Clan

We are a clan of many. Our lair started out small, hidden amongst the reeds and the bushes where the first few of our clan found each other. Our founders, Kywii and Hypsii, were small and worried for their survival. They were full of magic, yes, but still so small in a world so big. Once they were sure their hatchlings were safe, they set out to find resources, treasure, and perhaps other dragons who wished to not feel so alone.

They welcomed any and all dragons who wished to join and soon enough, their lair grew bigger. They had to expand rapidly to accommodate all new arrivals. The dragons came from all over Sornieth. Some stayed, some moved on, and some found a new home serving the Windsinger. With each new arrival, the clan as a whole changed. Tensions grew among some, hatchlings and adults alike, and the lair grew too small to hold them all.

The clan’s growth may have been rapid when it first began, but like a tree growing tall the clan’s growth has slowed down. Some still leave and more arrive. Some left when they were young only to return, often with stories to tell.

The clan now floats high in the Twisting Crescendo, ropes tying the balloons the clan lives in to the ground and to its original roots. The founders have adopted a saying, a way of life for the lair and all who find home in it. They tell the hatchlings once they’re old enough to understand and they tell any new arrivals. They say, “If you find your home here, you are free to explore your own destiny. Explore your desires and your interests, even if they conflict with what you were born with. You are free as the wind here. We are like the wind. We are ever changing. We are Allagí."
