Stories say long time ago there has been a young couple, a nameless Fae and a Guardian. They were wind dragons and they sought shelter from a clan of pillagers. They did not have much to give, yet their pursuers did not care.
After weeks of fleeing they thought they were safe right at the border between the Shifting Expanse and the Sea of a Thousand Currents. It was a nice place with surprisingly much vegetation for the wasteland of the Shifting Expanse. They tried to build their own clan, even raised hatchlings, thinking they finally made it.

That was until that one night where the clan was raided brutally. There were no survivors. Just a lone Lightning Coatl found the bodies the next day. Still shocked by the sheer brutality of the assault he buried the dead. The Coatl did not intend to come back and yet the thought of she shattered clan could not get out of his mind. He made a decision.

He would continue their legacy. He would rebuild what they have lost and their new fundation should become incorruptible. He would watch over all the weak and those in need and offer them shelter and he would judge those who do injustice. The Clan of the Rising Falcon was revived.

The clan later would become a sanctuary to all kinds of dragons since Moonstrike raised a rather defensive than offensive clan. Yet they all had one in common, under the lead of Moonstrike they all had an will of iron. They have adapted perfectly to the rough weather that the closeness to the Sea of a Thousand Current brings. They bend the storm and ride the lightning because they are adaptable yet unbreaking. They have united the best of Wind and Lightning and have tamed the storm. Anyone who dares to attack this clan will learn to fear them.
