Among the flight representatives of the clan, the elemental magic tends to express itself in different ways. The female halves of the representative pairs tend to be more in tune with the magical elements of their flight's god, sensing the underlying web of magic that hides beneath the material world. Their male partners react in various ways, either crestfallen at their inability to access the magics, or gleefully ignorant of the abilities they lack, but they serve well as guardians and helpmates to the female representatives, and stand (or fly) beside them at clan meetings, flight introductions, and research projects.

I promise I'm getting around to naming those unnamed dragons, don't worry. (If you need, you can message me if they're bothering you in your offspring lists and I'll make sure they're named more quickly.)
