You like rocks? You like dirt? You like rubble, sand, and gems? Then you're at the right clan. Despite my deceptive name, this clan pumps out the most drab, dull, and earthy dragons you can find.

All my dragons breed in set pairs, not only because I like to keep it that way, but also helps keep bloodlines apart when breeding.

Within the jagged landscape of Greatwyrm's Breach the lair of Clan Cragmaw resides. The terrain is treacherous and unforgiving, but so are its inhabitants. Dragons foreign to the region that have ventured into the lair's vicinity claim to have seen the hills shifting as if they were alive. However if one would look closer you would see that its not the landscape they see moving, but the residents of the clan romping around the area; their rough, earthen hides blending in with the environment causing one's eyes to play tricks on them.

Formed and lead by the guardian, Terrasaxum, he keeps the Clan running smoothing and efficiently. Though kind, he rules with an iron claw, making sure that the peace of the Clan and region are not disturbed. Generally militaristic, the reigning breed of the Clan are snappers who work hard as sentinels to protect the lair and members who cannot defend themselves. The rest of the clan consists of breeds performing all sorts of jobs: merchants, craftsmen, hunters, shamans, etc.

The clan is also home to the Gravel Pit Hatchery. Probably the most protected section of the lair, the hatchery pumps out fresh piles of boulderlike eggs all the time. Most hatchlings grow up to stay and strengthen the Clan, but the adventurous spirit of young dragons causes many to leave on pilgrimages across the land leading them to new Clans. Terrasaxum does not dissuade them from leaving, he instead encourages them to follow their instincts and use their strength to protect their future Clans wherever they may reside.
