The Azeryx Clan.

I'm Alex/Azeryx/Whatever Else You Call Me, and I like dragons and stuff so yeah that's about it.

Lair is organized by Clan and Non-Clan/Enemies. Hibernal Den is for dragons no longer in the story.

Formation:

The guild was founded by five members- Hallow, his mate Flow, two mated Ridgebacks named Shredder and Eve, and Aka, an elderly Imperial. The five dragons all had something to leave behind and decided to find a resting place. As a result, they formed the Azeryx Clan, a Clan hidden away in the middle of the icy wilderness.

The Azeryx Clan values loyalty and inner strength more than anything. They tend to believe that strength of the heart trumps anything. As a result, it can be noted that many clan members have grim exteriors. This is due to the Clan accepting any member that fits the requirements, regardless of appearances, and also because many members prefer to appear frightening to ward off marauders and enemies. As a result, the Azeryx Clan is a mix of beautiful and gruesome dragons, but they all work together as a powerful team.

The Azeryx Clan has dens and many various underground caverns, including a dining area, a nesting area, a treasury, an armory, a dungeon, and much much more.

They are ruled by a governing council of founders, and also a leader. There is a division of gatherers, fighters, guards, prison guards, and other odd jobs. The Clan, while certainly offbeat, is nevertheless very powerful.

The Revolt:

Eventually, there had to be problems. And that problem arose in Shredder, one of the founding members. Tired of the weak ways of the Clan, Shredder campaigned for the Clan to become more powerful to support more members. He began to speak of fighting against enemy Clans and taking their territory, as a result defending their land and gaining more strength. Hallow, seeking a peaceful life, refused.

As a result, Shredder decided that it was time for a new leader and began to plot a coup. He intended to get Eve on his side, but she refused. In the end, he only managed to gather Crush and Glory, the latter of which was one of Hallow's daughters. In addition, he gathered a bunch of mercenary dragons to do his work, to help him take over the Clan in fulfill his power hungry desires.

But in his arrogance, he underestimated the unity and strength of the Clan, which fought back against him with a fury he had never seen before. However, it was Hallow who shocked him most of all. A small Tundra at the time, Hallow fought Shredder with a strength that no one ever believed he possessed. He defeated Shredder, but the forces of his attacks not only won against the Ridgeback, but destroyed Flow's mind, who was nearby to guard him and watch the battle. It is claimed that this was not his fault.

Afterwards, Hallow exiled Shredder, allowed Glory to go serve the Icewarden, and buried Crush, who had perished in the battle. However Shredder, no matter how weak and beaten, swore revenge. And Hallow had a new problem to deal with- Shredder's newborn son.

Rising Storm- Shredder's Revenge:

Zeryx, the son of Shredder, named for his Clan that he has been born to, was said to be the next Leader of the Clan after Hallow. Hallow, naturally, was worried by this. But life went on, and soon enough, things were back to normal, at least within the Azeryx Clan.

But out in the darkness, Shredder still lurked, as Eve, Hallow, and Aka knew. And Shredder was determined to act out on revenge against the Azeryx Clan, to take his revenge. He teamed up with many characters, promising them what they desired: bloodshed for Rage, a good death for Fenrir, a home for Blight, and more. These dragons gathered under his wing, to fight in a war against the Azeryx Clan. In addition, he created Xyzer, a dragon he took in as his son that has been brainwashed into doing nothing but fighting the Azeryx Clan.

As a result, the rising storm has hinted at a battle to come. Rage mortally wounded Hallow to the point where he was given a new body- at a cost of much of his life force. Xyzer defeated Zeryx in an easy battle. Zanzibar has given Abyss strange flashbacks to her past. Aegis and Vivid have fought harsh battles against Shredder's forces. The tension grows higher and higher, but it is Aka who is the most scared of all- his dreams are haunted by dark visions and memories, foretelling terrible times to come.

But Shredder's gang is not doing as good as expected either. While Shredder and Rotte scheme, some of the other members are growing suspcious. Octavian, always a drifter, bypassed several enchantments and rules to find out Shredder's plans- moving past Blight, he is now attempting to convince Xyzer to leave Shredder, but to no avail.

One thing is certain- there is bloodshed on the horizon.

The Bringer War:

Eventually, the Clans clashed in a brutal war, where the true madness of Shredder's ambitions came to light. Not only did he plan to destroy the Azeryx Clan, but he planned to unleash an Emperor upon them. The base Imperial used in his design was Brimstone, a deceased comrade belonging to Aka. He has been renamed Bringer and combined with several other Imperials. In fact, Shredder planned to kill an Imperial mid-battle to unleash the beast.

And yet, throughout the battle, the dragons had overcome. Though there had been tragic deaths on both sides (Savannah and Casper for Azeryx, and Bol for Shredder's forces), the fighting raged on. However, slowly but surely, the Azeryx Clan had turned the tide. With Rex defeating Fenrir, Aegis killing Rage, and Zeryx and Xyzer reaching a stalemate, Shredder had to unleash Project Bringer. Originally planning to kill Luna, Sunset, or Spanner, Shredder simply killed one of the mercenaries he hired, unleashing Bringer upon the Azeryx Clan and his own forces.

Shredder's rogues quickly realized the danger they were in, and decided to join forces with their enemy. Even Xyzer, Shredder's heir, turned on his father. But Shredder, mad with lust for revenge, didn't care.

But one betrayal caught everyone off guard- Rotte, Shredder's grandest schemer, decided he was done taking orders. Instead, he used forbidden Arcane magic that he had learned from studying tomes of knowledge to try and force Bringer to bend to his will. Rotte fused his mind with the Emperor, getting it to work for him to destroy everyone in his path- Shredder included. However, even with Rotte's mind and an Emperor, all of the dragons managed to combine together and neutralize Bringer before too many Imperials could be added to the beast.

With Bringer and Shredder's top warriors defeated, the Bringer War ended. Shredder and his supporters were either taken prisoner or driven out. A fair few joined the Azeryx Clan. The Bringer War was at last over.

The Aftermath:

There were quite a few deaths in the battle. Casper and Savannah were killed in the Azeryx Clan battle, and Rage and Bol were also slain. Shredder, Zanzibar, Disco, Fenrir, Spanner, and Thaw were all imprisoned for their crimes, while Veil managed to slip away. Xyzer, Acid, Octavian, Viper, and Blight all requested to join the Azeryx Clan. Becoming loyal followers, all seems well.

But in the shadows of the prison, there are still schemes and rumors going around. A jailbreak is being planned, and mysterious dragons have shown up near the Clan's territory. While war has ended, this is only the beginning.
