Dormant found Echo buried in the snow and took her home. She immediately loved it: the constellations she could contemplate late at night, the powerful sound of the ocean, everything about it was wonderful. She told Dormant how she had no idea how she got here, and he suggested it was perhaps meant to be an adventure. They decided to lay an egg together on that first night, to symbolize their newfound partnership and the beginning of a new adventure. Echo built a little nest in one of the holes in the cave, where she sleeps and watches over the egg. She likes to press her head against it, as it seems to be pulsating with energy and magic, the life force of her unborn child.
