He is on you before you even get a chance to flinch. A heavy claw crushes your back against the rough lair wall. His fangs exposed and reeking in your face. Breath super heated sulfur and malice, his full attention lays on you. His mirrored fire flicker eyes unblinking. You refuse to look away. Finally in a voice more snarl than word, he says, "Hmm. You pass." He turns tail and reenters the lair. You follow. A mountain of a Guardian regards you as you pass her, a look of approval ghosts over her features. |
