Welcome to the Tangledroots Academy, a mysterious school nestled deep in the colorful slot canyons that wind across the barren plains of Dragonhome. It’s very dangerous here. In fact, you probably shouldn’t have come. But, now you’re here, so I suppose you might as well try to learn something. What is so dangerous about a school, you ask? Many things. For one, the school is separated into two competing factions, the Scholars and the Archaeologists. The heads of the factions, Rylan and Xaria, wish for the school to stay united. However, Roanoke and Kendall, the two potential heirs to the Academy’s leadership, are each attempting to use their respective factions as a means to gain power. But mere political struggles are the least of our worries. The dragons of the academy have delved deep into the earth in pursuit of knowledge, and so of course they have awakened ancient powers that were almost certainly better left undisturbed. Now the clan is splintered into religious factions and cults, and a whole self-proclaimed pantheon of deities vie for our loyalty. |
