Eseme's Clan

Welcome to the Driftwood Lair!

Guardian Quietness has traveled far, and lived for a time in the far North. He searched for his true home, and found it on a stretch of pale grey sand full of black mica sparkles, bordered by tall cliffs with inviting caves.

While clearing the beach given to him by the Tidelord, he noticed the smell of something sweet and light. A vivid pink Guardian, named after the beach roses that bloomed at the edges of the sand, she too was looking for her beach. Together they cleared the beach and settled into a large cave.

Not long after, a Bogsneak named MetaFire after her parents and the opalescent sparkles in her dark purple skin approached them at the local crossroads, looking for a home. She came from the clan of an ally, MornGlory, and was looking for a place to settle. MetaFire has found that applications of mud from a nearby tidal marsh keep her skin supple, and has begun to mix poultices and potions for the small clan.

The clan may be small, but has friends across the realm. Aldersprig's clan lairs in the deep forests, and from there the next arrivals came, traveling days over land to the beach. A Guardian, Miranda, sheltered a host of smaller dragons beneath her wings, all of them dreaming of the blue and purple depths of the ocean and the crisp breezes at the shore. Miranda and Quietness had met years before, and a third Guardian allowed their smaller kin to feel safe. Maui and Spulash darted around their friend's head, and then made for the smallest caves near the top of the cliffs. Eiluned took it upon himself to foster the two hatchlings, another Spiral named Kelpie and a Skydancer calling himself Minnow.

From the depths of the reefs Chasm came from the clan of Hyleoroi. This fae has is of the darkest blues, and is nearly invisible in the deep. she has nested with Maui and Spulash, and all three fae enjoy swimming or flying about their larger friends.

One morning there was a burst of fireworks, and when the smoke cleared, a bright and shining blue baby Snapper blinked purple eyes up at the gathered clan. All the way from the Arcane lands, this bright youngling announced her name as CyanSparkles and she began to dig herself a burrow in the sand. All hail the magics of MicahJaguar!

Isken arrived next, a deep purple Guardian from the land of the Light and the clan of LadyRowyn. Like the other Guardians, she has a small friend. Shimrio arrived perched on her larger friend's head.

Not all Fae arrive with a larger dragon, though many do. Slipping through the boundaries between the land of Shadow and the land of waters is tricky, but Fae are small and clever. Three traveled together from the lands of ShadesOfCyan, their numbers giving them safety. MidnightOcean was the oldest, and leader, while LilacMist and TwilightFog followed and learned, two very clever hatchlings.

Also from the lands of Shades of Cyan, OceanRunes hard that other Tundra dragons had found a home on the beach, and that this was a welcoming place. She began her journey in the depth of Shadow, and eventually surfaced in the cool tidal waters of the Driftwood Lair.

From the lands of water, and the lair of Kastaka, came two more dragons, wanting a new beach and new friends. DeepOcean was named for the patterns on his wings and like his name he enjoys the cold, inky depths. Cerulion had heard rumors of a Bogsneak Alchemist settling further up the coast, and is working to win the favors of MetaFire.

The clan grows, and the Driftwood Lair is a place for water colored dragons, particularly purple ones, to nest and call home.
