THE FLIGHTLESS
Symbol of the Flightless.
The Flightless are an organized clan of dragons that reject the idea of flight loyalty.
Almost every Flightless has felt betrayed by their flight and deity at some point in their life, and decided to join the cause.
The Flightless are known for their sympathy towards the Beastclans and their hatred towards the deities:
to them, the Eleven are tyrants keeping dragons in perpetual conflict for their own entertainment.
Their unanimous goal is to abolish all flights, although some of the more extremist members go so far as to think that the Deities themselves need to be eliminated.
How they intend to achieve this particular goal is a mystery.
The Flightless are considered to be a dangerous group of rebels and are recognized as a criminal organization by all flights.
They have taken part in sabotaging important events, kidnappings of relevant figures, enabling Beastclans riots and inciting violence.
The Flightless used to have a base of operations in the Viridian Labyrinth: an huge, concave tree which the members of Clan called "Hollowtree Home".
It managed to remain hidden from the authorities for many years thanks to the use of highly illegal illusion magic, which made it look like a completely normal tree.
The group's location was discovered when one of the most high ranking members of the Clan was revealed to be a double agent working for the Gladekeeper herself.
A coordinated attack was carried out on the base, and it resulted in its complete destruction.
It was believed, until very recently, that that had been the end of the Flightless.
Since then, it has been reported that more than half of the original clan members are still alive, and took refuge in several underground bases that operate in all of Sornieth.
Most concerning of all, it has been discovered that the leaders of the Clan, Thetis and Wallow, are still alive and active.
If you have the suspicion that one of your friends, family members, or acquaintances is considering joining the Flightless, do everything in your power to stop them
and if they already have, report them to the authorities immediately.
