Caution: Most things are graphic, this is a fact of life. Proceed.
The Black Plague runs rampant here, all dragons that have yet to pass and “reanimate” are dressed accordingly. This disease has gotten out of hand…

I didn’t take long… Yersinia visited the Wyrmwound just days ago, she s-she just went to take a look… I’m sorry I ever let her out of my sight, I’ve doomed us all.

October 10, 1340It’s been two days and the effects of the disease she’s brought back are beginning to show, five dragons have passed already and we have no way to dispose of the bodies. The others fear contamination. Please, we need help.

October 15, 1340Five days, I fear I’m coming down with something. The others around me have developed black, pus-filled boils on their skin and some have been bleeding to no end from splits in their skin.
I have reached out to other clans but none seem to want to come near us, in fact, we seem to be the only ones left around here. The doctors, they say they’ve done all they can.

October 20, 1340Something… unholy has occurred. Those who had passed just ten days earlier, we left them on the outskirts of the clan, unable to truly bury or burn the bodies. I’m not sure how that is possible but I saw it with my own eyes, all there is left to do is pray to the Plaguebringer that she may end our clan’s suffering.

October 23, 1340I know… I know now that I too am sick. My skin, covered in boils and cracks, refuses to clot. I am losing blood, too much blood.
There is hope though, two dragons in the clan have yet to contract this disease. We have developed a type of mask for them to wear that we pray will keep them from catching what the rest of us have.

October 25, 1340I fear my time here is coming to an untimely and rather painful end, to ease the pain I repeat the news I heard today. One of the survivors, a female who has yet to catch the disease and to my knowledge is protected against it, is pregnant. She is scheduled to have her babies in a few weeks, they may be resistant to this strain, or at the very least can be protected as well.
There is hope yet, I tell myself, there is hope ye-
