Venturing into the Shrieking Wilds is an act of bravery to those who are not of Nature. It is a menacing looking place, despite the growth and lushness of it. Unfamiliar dragons such as yourself get lost easily, confused by the twisting paths and enormous trees that all look the same. But as you look closer, you can tell there are signs of hidden homes within the Wilds, homes that Nature dragons can pick out without even knowing they’re there.
There is a particularly welcoming clan of dragons in the Wilds, cleverly nestled behind a wall of massive and ancient trees. You stop at the entrance, constructed of vines and twigs and limbs, nearby plants clinging to the growth. You feel the sensation of hidden eyes that are indeed watching from the other side. The overgrown vines suddenly begin to slowly pull apart themselves, revealing a cave-like path. The massive tree trunks on either side of the path hum with the power of the Gladekeeper, her warmth and healing welcome filling your heart as you pass through. You feel at ease by her, but it isn’t clear that it’s her doing.
On the other side, the clan leaders are always prepared. The two of them, a large guardian and a tundra, are an odd pairing, but their bond is strong enough that it radiates around them. Both dawn an obvious connection to their element, and when the guardian with antlers speaks, his deeply rich voices calms your nerves.
“Welcome, wanderer. These are the borders of Gladehaven. Do join us and be healed of the aches from your journey.”
