Hi! I'm Davenport, but I mostly go by Dave, or some form of Incendavery. I draw comics on tumblr. I'm willing to do commissions for treasure or gems; message me if you're interested! I'm here to make friends and breed pretty dragons!

I adore my irl pets; I have a red-tailed boa named Horatio Hornboa, a southern alligator lizard named Yuri Plizardsky, and two leopard geckos named Terry and The Admiral.

CLAN LORE

((my lore is still very much in progress! only a handful of dragons are anywhere near done. if you do happen to read my lore and had any thoughts, I would really love to hear them!))

This clan was founded by the clan matriarch, Joyin, and her mate, Joringer. They fought the elements and encroaching dangers bitterly to carve out a place for themselves along the Driftwood Draig. As their new clan grew, they moved to the Wispwillow Grove.

Joyin’s clan is a home to any for as long as they will stay. Every quarter-moon, Joyin gathers her dragons around her for a meeting to discuss matters of clan business. While every dragon in the clan, even hatchlings and visitors, are allowed their say, it falls to Joyin to make any final decisions.

CLAN HISTORY

Once, in the darkest grove of the darkest woods, there lived a family of tricksters. They would never fight when they could cheat, would never debate when they could deceive. They grew drunk upon their own wit, and forgot that there exist those in this world that are not to be toyed with.

With their last, and perhaps only, honest breaths, they begged for the life of their youngest hatchling, a young fae named Joyin.

When a young wanderer named Joringer came upon the ruins of the tricksters’ homes, he found Joyin. She was injured and feverish, but alive. He stayed with her as she healed, and they shared their stories and dreams with each other. Soon, they only had one dream, that belonged to them both: a dream of a new home.

Together, they forged their way across fell and fen, making for the Driftwood Drag. They fought their way along the river, struggling to find a patch along the sandy shores that they coull claim as their own. As they made their way, they were joined by others: a hatchling, a loner, half of a soul, a mother with no children.

After much toil, they had carved our their home among the skirts of the river. The hatchling grew into a dragon; the lone wolf became part of a pack, one half of a soul found the other, and the mother welcomed her children with open wings.

And, finally, only when they were certain they were safe, secure in the home they had built for themselves, did Joyin and Joringer dream their finest dream yet; the end of a chapter, and the beginning of an age: Speravi, their firstborn son.
