Nestled deep in the Crackle hills is the lair of the dragon clan sharing their name. The Crackle hills clan is a young clan, lead by the guardian matriarch Snowsinger. Their lair is a network of natural caves that spread out under the hills. While happy enough to declare allegiance to the Stormcatcher, they are a practical lot, more concerned with getting work done than paying homage to a rarely seen deity.

The crackle hills clan is mostly made up of builders and hunters. Hunters provide the vast majority of their food, while builders work on their still very new lair. Smaller groups of fishers and gatherers help maintain a balanced diet, and several members of the clan hold more specialized positions. The recent discovery of an underground fresh water river has caused great excitement for the clan. Plans to start farming fish, plants and animals in underground caverns are being worked on, and things are looking up for them.

The crackle hills clan was founded by a group of wandering dragons that just needed a place to sleep that night. Snowsinger, a young female guardian, was one of several dragons sent to scout for a safe place to sleep for the night. She discovered the entrance to a cave that was at least large enough to fit them all it. Upon further inspection, the cave was much larger. The group stayed longer than expected. When the leader of the group decided he wished to move on, several of the members decided that they wished to stay behind. These dragons were the first members of the crackle hills clan.

Leadership
The Crackle hills clan is lead by council, although the members of the council have shifted around quite a lot. The overall leader of the council is Snowsinger, the female guardian who discovered the Crackle hills cave system.

Other current members of the council include Earthmirror, Yueliang, Nymphadora, Toolbox, Kavada, Pinknoir and Mirashe.

Allies
The only current ally of the Crackle hills clan is the Thundarga Fist clan. The two clans are close, and regularly exchange young members for training and finding mates.
The Crackle hills clan is on edge about the recent hostile takeover of the Thundarga Fist clan, but hope to preserve the alliance regardless of what happens.
