starwatcher's Clan

For now this a secretive clan of sorcerers and wizards. though originally formed by two nature fae, Victory and Rainleaf, the clan is currently led by Ardast, a young but capable imperial. Dragons and creatures of all flights who are injured or in need are welcomed and cared for in secret here. But when a small group of shadow dragons are rescued from a deadly skirmish, things begin to change. Their leader Estarsa believes a secretive clan like this would be better off in the shadows and some of the clan are starting to agree. Ardast may soon be awnsering to a new leader...and a new flight...
PART 2
Ardast begins to doubt his ability to lead the clan after he and the clan's guard flight are defeated by servants of the Plague flight in battle. The Plague has long sought out this clan as its power to heal and spread life grows. They will not rest until they see Ardast's clan destroyed. Estarsa knows this. In truth it is not her wish to dominate this clan but to help it. Though born shadow, Estarsa once lived in a nature clan on the outskirts of Viridian labyrinth... until it was destroyed by plague dragons looking to expand their territory and wipe out as many followers of the Gladekeeper as possible to please the Plaguebringer. No one knows how they got through Dragonhome to the Laberynth but they have and they are bent on bringing around its destruction, starting with this clan.
Estarsa tells this to Ardast. He argues that the Tangled Wood is evan closer to the Scarred Wasteland, and whats more he will not have his dragons turning into dishonest thieves and tricksters. " Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" The pearlcatcher counters and tells him that as long his clan remains in the domain of the Gladekeeper, they and all nature clans are at risk. In the land of shadows they can hide and continue spreading life. Ardast considers this. Their location has been discovered, they do not have the numbers to fight and other clans are at risk. But join the Shadows? As if reading his mind, Estarsa says: " I don't know what dratted lies are spread about us. We shadow dragons love the night and the stars and feel at home in the dark, and yes we lie when it benefits us, but we are not the low-life rogues you think we are. I want to help your clan. You may still wear the mantel as second in command if you would change your loyalties and let me lead. I too wish to see the spread of life.
"We shall see" says Ardast.
