Home of the Fable Lore clan.

Magic imbued in the veins of both the land and the dragons who call this place home.

Fable Lore has always been a clan of found family, those who come together to care for each other and be cared for in kind. Often taking in new members, orphans and wanderers alike.

Sadly it was while Winter was still a young dragon that the Blackfoots (another clan who decided to violently force the FableLore dragons off their territory) attacked and slaughtered many of FableLore's then budding clan. Founders Lumilidae and Violet Tourmaline were some of the first causalities, as well as many other members.

Founder Lapis would lead on battle against the Blackfoots, harnessing the arcane magic imbued in their land and themselves to avenge their fallen family and defend their home. She shared this knowledge with her clan to aid them in battle.

FableLore waged war against the Blackfoots, one that would lead to numerous lives lost on both sides, but an eventual victory for the FableLore clan. However it was a harsh and bitter victory, with the battlefield scattered with dead FableLore dragons.

There was no celebration, only mourning for the fallen dragons. It was due to this pivotal event that led to a tradition of FableLore forming. One that celebrated the deceased members of FableLore with festivities and remembrance of their life and loved ones, followed by quiet mourning and grief for their passing.

Whenever a clan member dies, the clan has a funeral/celebration. It mourns the deceased but also celebrates their life and loved ones, and is a farewell to their clanmate and family member.

The dragons of FableLore will celebrate with festivities and food and fun, before retiring at midnight to mourn in private or in a more somber manner.
