Hi, my name is val, I'm 27, and I am a disaster. This is my clan of disaster dragons. I'm not very talkative but feel free to add me as a friend and never speak to me, I'm cool with that. I'm 8 hours ahead of FR time (UK) but I have no discernible sleep schedule so who knows when I'll be active. My pronouns are he/him.

Not all dragons have up to date lore, but Yves, Vali, and Astra (in den) are good places to start. Individual broadcast messages briefly describe roles, and some dragons have notes or shorter bios. There are more details about Clan Clarion in general below!


In the deep and permanent Shade of the Hewn City, the ruins have been crumbling for ages beyond memory. But some desire the shroud of darkness, and wear it like a crown. Here, the ruins have been pillaged, ancient stone torn down, carvings desecrated for reuse.

Streets lit with glowing orbs, oil lamps, and candle lanterns, strings of delicate bulbs wired together with the most careful of claws. Buildings put together from blocks of pale, cracked marble, built for every dragon's use. Land cleared for fields and gardens, pools, workshops, meeting places.

Above every doorway, three runes: Plague, Ice, and Light.

There is a chapel by the meeting grounds, run by a Pearlcatcher named Yves, High Priest to Lightweaver. His advisors are mages; their delegates are their apprentices, scribes, and messengers. Below them, assassins; warriors; ambassadors; guards. Some feed the clan with foraging and trade; others with the products of theft and forgery.

A library also flanks the meeting grounds, its shelves heavy with books carried from the very beginning of the clan's life, in a cavern system in the Abiding Boneyard. This is a place of peace among the lawless chaos of luxury that Clan Clarion otherwise lives by.

Another library towers over its surroundings, domed and gilt-decorated. The Occult Library holds books of deep magic, forbidden knowledge, and ancient history. The basement holds yet darker knowledge: That in the heads of imprisoned beasts both divine and infernal, which occult scholars probe and pry at.

The Shade only deepens here. But no matter how dark it gets, Clan Clarion puts up more lights. And as the only spark in a hopeless place, the clan will welcome those who come to look for it. Providing that they get something in return...
