_{a pilgrimage across sornieth seemed a much better idea when you were still a hatchling, and had little grasp of the sheer size of this continent. you don't regret your journey, of course - words fail the sights you've seen and the friends you've made - but as of right now, crossing the border from the ashfall waste and venturing for the first time onto the windswept plateau, you want for nothing more than a good meal and a warm nest. you look up, and promptly stop in your tracks. it's like your imagination crawled out of your head and set up shop right in front of you. there, nestled at the very base of the zephyr steppes, is a large wooden house. it's plain but inviting, and the door is thrown wide open, revealing the amber hearth glowing within. you can hear the chatter of other dragons, and there's a delicious smell wafting your way. creeping closer, you read the sign above the door, and immediately you're filled with joy.
