Hatchlings are unnamed as a rule until after a week at least, as most are sold or exalted. Those that are named usually must breed at least once before being allowed to leave the clan, either through exaltation or sale.

Between the Guardian and Tundra progens, the clan lair is, to put it simply huge. A spiraling network of tunnels and large open caverns, the lair is kept at acceptable temperatures, the middle being the coolest, while the top and lower layers tend to be hottest.
